Custo Barcelona

By now, Custo Barcelona has made my absolutely favourite collection of the NYFW. Well, I can't actually judge by now, because there are still two days left, but I'm pretty sure it won't change. I'm totally in love with all these colourful feathers and so oh-so-pretty-dreamy dresses. See yourself:

New things

First: The layout...tadaaa! Hope you like it. And if not then...well, then you don't. I like it. It's not 100% finished yet, but it won't change a lot anymore.
Then: Yes, I was ill (and probably I'm still, a bit) but I went to Frankfurt yesterday, anyway. And maybe I shouldn't have because I'm feeling not that great again, but actually it was worth it. Perfect, warm day and new clothers! NEW CLOTHERS! ON SALE! .... I was ill???
Yeah, you may take a look:
1. Cos, 12 € was 40€ (it has shoulder pads)
2. Primark, 11€ (it's a dress, but it's the details that are interesting)
3. Primark 15€ (tube dress, with cut outs at the back)
4. Hair things...Primark, 2€ + 1,50€

Fra Fra Frankfurt

So, I've been in Frankfurt yesterday...I had to wake up at 5a.m because we brought my grandma to the airport, and then we ate to breakfast there. I really love airports!
Well, it was 8o'clock when we finished so we just went trough Frankfurt (it has a lovely park, actually) and waited for the stores to open.
Hollister says hello: (I actually bought some other stuff too, but this is worth posting, I guess)

Freja Candids. (+screenshots +backstage)

So, we all know it was NY Fashionweek time and I personally was very looking for Freja who has walked plenty of (gorgeous!) shows. And, I'm very glad that she and her look have actually kind of changed and she's not anymore 'only androgyny'. Besides, I don't know what she's done, but she also seems fresher and ... I don't know. Better.
Anyway, take a look and judge by yourself...it's time for a résumé:

at Michael Kors:

at Oscar de la Renta

after Isaac Mizrahi (with a funny purple bag)

at Calvin Klein

at Marc by Marc Jabobs

before Anna Sui

before Oscar de la Renta

And here the summer-esque screenshots. Oh, very nice :)

That girl doesn't fail at streetstyle

Never. Abbey, may I have your closet?
Anyway, she seems to admire the dress, the bag and the chain. She wears it pretty often, but hey, it looks amazing.

New stuff

(SPIN magazin- actually for a friend but I think I'll keep it :D, Laguna Hollister Skinny Jeans, Hollister hoodie, Hollister tank top with sequins, Spoon-Teacup-Bow chain from Accessorize (lying on the jeans, close-ups coming soon))

I was in Frakfurt today, and of course I had to visit Hollister. That was so funny! Too bad I forgot to take my camera with me, so I couldn't take any photos, but I can tell you what happened...first, you had to wait approx 20min in a queue before the guys in the dorrway let you in (these guys wore boxershorts and a chemise so you were of course able to see their abs. But not their eyes since they wore glasses. So super-dooper cool *cough*). Well then, after you got inside the dark shop that smelled like...uh...well, hollister-like, you could shop the normal way, not only clothing but also magazines and CDs, but you had to wait again a very long time for the dressing room. But all the salesmen were very nice and looked great :) And they all wore flip-flops, which I think was kind of funny, because the customers all came in winter boots. Anyway, I talked to a guy in the shop and he said that they are probably planning to open a new Hollister store in Hamburg and maybe also Abercrombie. Yay!

Remindsmeofthesummertimeonthiswinterday

Oh well, thanks to polyvore for giving me the chance to spend my whole evening creating collages. But it was great fun. I mean, how can it not be fun browsing through expensive things you never ever buy and create outfits you never ever be able to wear? But hey, I can dream, can't I?
I'd describe this composition as rock'n'roll-meets-girlish, but I'm not sure. All that I know is that I'm in love wth the tee and the snood...and the shoes...and...er...everything.

Anyway, do you know this feeling between Xmas and New Year...? It's like between the years, but you're not really between them. It's still 2009. But one thing just passed and you're waiting for the other, but in the meantime everthing goes back to normal, you know. The shops are open, you have to go to work again and things like that. But actually it's holliday-esque, so you're not really into shopping or going to work...don't know if it makes any sense to you...?

So, last but not least, an amazing tune for you. I have known The Dead Weather before, but I completely fell in love with them when I heard "I Cut like a buffalo" on the radio. So, I think it's worthy of sharing with you guys. (ignore intro)

Lindsay/ Abbey

Well, this is not a LaW presents, because I kind of don't have time to do it (but I'll do it soon anyway-promised!). I just stumbled over some AMAZING street style pictures of Lindsay Ellington (first tree) and decided to let Abbey Lee (last) slip her way in too, just because I like her so much at the moment. I mean, c'mon, how you can not fall in love with their style? Yeah, you see...

Haha, and...look at the 1st picture...Lindsay can make a blazer fly! She's so good! :D

French girl

I really like it. It's so simple and young, and very fresh. She really mixes up the designer things with the easy stuff. And she has this French attitude, which I love. For example, the first one, especially the red lips, is very French. I think, on the second look, the simple and a bit washed-out looking grey/green shirt together with the green scarf look a bit boring. But combined with the flower pattern of the scarf (look closer!) and the beige blazer, which looks expensive, the look becomes great. The red dress is one the one hand, due to the skirt, schoolgirl-esque, but on the other hand pretty ladylike because of the red colour. The feminine skirt and the blue blazer is always a go-go, you can't do anything wrong with this combination. The fifth look is my favourite: It's so great for winter! A wool white dress and a black wool coat. Brown boots and bag. Last but not least: black'n'white. (Actually black'n'cream). Legs all tone-in-tone and a sheer white top and a knit cardigan with puff sleeves.
Amazing.

Wish outfit of today

I really, really, really need this! ♥

Dsquared² fall 2009 ready-to-wear.style.com

I don't know why, but  I think this is perfection! The Starbucks coffee. The purple big hat. The leggings. The belt. The blazer. Well, everything in this is awesome, except of the shoes. They fit perfectly-no doubt-but I'm not that into the leopart pattern. I would have prefered these:

Ihatemondays

So, besides guess I need this

Missoni Cashmere leggings                    Lela Rose Cashmere Short Cardigan

H&M Purple Hat                       Yves Saint Laurent Wool blazer

+a boho jeans mini

+a simple white bouse
+jewellery from www.jewelberry.de

Well, that's all folks. I didn't even spend more than 2.500€ on all this stuff  *daydreams* (well, actually I really didn't since I only posted it :)

Jute Bags

The name sounds uncool. Buuut...with some statements on it, they look really great. And, you might not believe it, they are so handy!

Did I convince you? Well, at least, I convinced myself.
What you will need is a jute bag and a fabric marker. And an idea. So, I'll start and I'll show you the finished result as soon as possible.
